CODA’s experience stems
from having training activity operating in
parallel with programme management.
The Dynamo
Education Project - CODA managed an exciting pan
Wales programme management contract on behalf of
the Welsh Assembly Government to promote
entrepreneurial skills in the curriculum as part
of the Youth Enterprise Strategy (YES) for
Wales. The Welsh Assembly Government
developed interactive teaching materials for use
in schools, to encourage children and young
people to use their imagination and to develop
the skills required to be successful in their
lives, whatever they choose to do.
CODA, in conjunction with the University of Wales
Institute Cardiff and the University of Wales
Bangor, delivered continuing professional
development workshops to teachers across Wales
in the use of the materials. Over 1500 teachers
were trained from the primary and secondary
education sector. CODA ensured the
training programme reached an unprecedented 50%
of all primary schools and 75% of all secondary
schools in Wales.
