Carmel Gahan
has over 15 years experience working as a
business consultant advising on business
development, planning and management
specializing within the interactive media, film
& television, the arts and more recently
e-commerce sectors. Among Carmel’s clients she
can cite prominent organisations such as the
Welsh Development Agency, Arts Council, BBC and
S4C. Carmel has also worked extensively
with younger people in business and enjoys
establishing a rapport with young creative
entrepreneurs.
Chris James has
worked as a management and marketing consultant
for more than 20 years, during which time he has
worked with more than 350 companies who have
ranged in size from 10 to 500 employees and have
been based in the UK, USA, Europe and Middle
East. His skills include business
development and marketing strategies, business
restructuring, technology audits, benchmarking,
e-commerce strategies and IT audits. Chris
has developed business positioning and support
processes to enable effective development and
change. Chris is a self confessed
adrenalin junkie and his gentle past times
include snowboarding, skiing, wind surfing and
historic rallying and as an under 21 he shot for
Wales and Great Britain.
Bethan Jones has
over 16 years of managerial experience of a
professional marketing service. Well developed
in assisting the client to develop UK and
international markets. Bethan was previously
responsible for the development and management
of the major provider of professional
international trade advisory and training
services across Wales. Her major strengths are
creative but realistic marketing management and
excellent project management skills.
Paul Stait has
over ten years experience working in the
automotive parts industry as an accountant and
general manager and has over 20 years working
with SME's in a variety of advising, training
and assessing roles, latterly as a freelance
business consultant.
Pamela Neal is a business consultant
and management trainer with over 25 years
professional experience with and within sole
trader, micro businesses and SME's. A specialist
in Corporate Stress Management, in EFQM Business
Excellence (accredited through Wales Quality),
and in HR advice and guidance. Pam has a broad
knowledge of funding, grant aid and particularly
European funding.
Sue Holder completed
her graduate traineeship with Young and Rubicam
Ltd., an international advertising agency. Later
becoming a senior account manager with Benton
and Bowles, handling accounts for a range of
household name products and services for blue
chip companies including Proctor and Gamble,
Cadbury Schweppes, Evening Standard etc. Sue
established her own export oriented designer
knitwear business Chunkies in 1976, which is
still successfully trading. Since 1990, she has
been involved on a freelance basis in local
economic development, providing counselling and
training to local businesses.
